The Tripura government has issued show cause notice to the heads of 34 schools as not a single student passed this year’s Class ten board exams and have started to review the performance of the teachers of the institutions.
Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Saturday said that the government would go for disciplinary proceeding against the head of the schools if their replies were found unsatisfactory. Action will be taken against those teachers after the review if found guilty.
The Minister said that they have asked the teachers to take extra effort especially for the student appearing board exam and if necessary to conduct remedial classes. The minister also asked to review properly as why the students of these schools have not passed.
