Six cadres of extremist organization Kuki Liberation Front (KLF) surrendered to security forces on Friday.
Along with themselves, they also surrendered 12 weapons, 13 magazines, 2 chinese grenade and ammunition.
These cadres will be rehabilated through the revised scheme for Surrender-cum-rehabilation of Militants in the Northeast announced by Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
Assam Police requests all such extremist groups to surrender with weapons and lead a normal life by availing the benefits of this policy.
