TheMajuli police on Friday morning arrested seven in connection with the attack onPratidin Time's Majuli journalist Tirtha Bhuyan.
Earlieron Thursday Bhuyan was attacked while reporting on corruption in the DeuriAutonomous Council (DAC). They even damaged Bhuyan's mobile phone.
Reportedly,the attackers were CEM of DAC, Madhab Deuri's aides.
