Accoland amusement park, which had been shut down due to contaminated water, has been reopened. The amusement park in Guwahati had been shut down for almost four months.
District Administration had sealed the park acting on a specific complaint of water contamination.
According to reports, the water was drawn from a nearby pond, which was not regularly treated resulting in skin diseases of various park goers, some of which had filed a written complaint against the park.
It was after administration's raid that the allegations were found to be true and hence the park was indefinitely sealed.
