It is Bollywood's Shehanshah's birthday and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has posted an adorable wish for the legendary actor and father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan on the occasion.

The 'Fanney Khan' star took to social media along with Big B's picture from his last year's birthday celebrations in Maldives, and wrote, "May the light keep shining, god bless. Happy Birthday Pa."

On his 76th birthday, she also shared another picture featuring daughter Aaradhya and the veteran actor. Penning a wish on behalf of Aaradhya, Aishwarya wrote, "Happyyy 76th Birthday Dadaji"

Other celebrities, including Madhuri Dixit Nene, Preity Zinta, among others, also wished the the star on his special day.

"Happy Birthday, Amit ji! May you continue to rule every cinema lovers' heart, today & forever. I wish you a blessed year ahead. Thank you for being a source of inspiration for many, including me. You are a true legend in every sense," wrote Madhuri Dixit Nene.

"Wishing our beloved, evergreen Shahenshah a very happy birthday @SrBachchan," tweeted Shraddha Kapoor.

Preity Zinta shared a picture with the megastar and wrote, "Happy Birthday to my all time favourite @amitabhbachchan Thank you for always inspiring & entertaining me. I feel so privileged that I got to share screen space with you. Love and respect always … xoxo #Ting ! #HappyBirthday"

However, with the #MeToo movement raging in India, Bachchan lent his support to the cause on his birthday.

"No woman should ever be subjected to any kind of misbehaviour, or disorderly conduct; especially at her workplace. Such acts should immediately be brought to the notice of concerned authorities, and corrective measures be taken, either through filing complaints or a recourse to law," wrote the star in an interview posted by him on his Twitter handle.
