Delhi air quality drops to ‘very poor’

The air quality of the national capital has once again crippled down to the 'very poor' category on Thursday. The Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi was recorded between 325 and 360 on Thursday morning.

Accordingto reports, the AQI in the area around Delhi University was recorded 359 at 8 AMtoday which falls under the 'very poor' category. Also, Chandni Chowk, PusaRoad, and Lodhi Road had an AQI of 347, 327 and 338, respectively.

It maybe mentioned here that an AQI between 0-50 is considered good, 51-100 issatisfactory, 101-200 moderate, 201-300 poor, 301-400 very poor and 401-500 ismarked as severe/hazardous.

Meanwhile,the maximum temperature in the capital will be 16 degrees Celsius and theminimum will be 7 degrees Celsius.
