Family distributes free home-made cloth bags

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Independence Day speech urged citizens to eliminate the use of plastic. Inspired by P. M Modi's speech, Bairagi family in Raipur, Chhattisgarh is distributing home-made cloth bags to discourage the use of plastic.

Reportedly, Surendra Bairagi and his wife Asha have preparedthose bags by using curtains, bed-sheets, shirts, etc and distributed hundredsof these bags to people for absolutely free.

They told  media that they were greatly inspired by P.M Modi and asked other people to join hand to achieve the goal of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

PM Modi, in his Independence Day speech, had urged citizens to avoid the use of single-use plastic, and suggested that shopkeepers should provide Eco-friendly bags to customers.
