3 Poachers Arrested From Orang National Park

Three poachers have been arrested from Orang National Park while on Thursday night. The forest guard apprehended the poachers red-handed while selling deer meat.

The poachers have been identified as Taleb Ali, Saidul Islam and Abdul Hussain.

According to forest officials, two hog deer were taking shelter at the Orang National Park after they came floating in the flood water. The park authorities have given them shelter and also kept them safe from the tigers but on Thursday night, three poachers have entered the park and killed one deer.

The poachers have been arrested while they were selling the deer meat and seized 80 kilos of meat from them.

The arrested poachers belong from Morigaon district.
