Anti-Malaria Mosquito Nets Distributed in Meghalaya

As part of the nationwide bid to eliminate Malaria by 2030, Long Lasting Insecticidal Mosquito Nets (LLINS) were distributed among the people of Garo Hills in Meghalaya by CM Conrad Sangma on Saturday. The LLINS have proven quite effective in Meghalaya's fight against the disease.

The Chief Minister tweeted in this regard, "Launched the Long Lasting Insecticidal Mosquito Nets(LLINs) in Garo Hills as part of the nation-wide drive to EliminateMalariaBy2030. LLINs have played a big role in reducing the malaria burden Meghalaya. Grateful to  Global Fund & OfficialNVBDCP for providing over 10L LLINs."
