Assam motorcycles set ablaze at Tezu

In a sensational incident in Tezu in Arunachal Pradesh, an irate mob set fire on five motorcycles belonging to 10 bikers from Assam on Monday. The incident took place following the death of a local youth in an accident when a motorcycle belonging to the group of Assam bikers hit the youth.

Followingthe accident, a number of locals arrived at the spot and attacked the group ofAssam bikers. The mob later set ablaze the motorcycles. However, police reachedthe spot after a while and controlled the situation.

Meanwhile, police detained the bikers from Assam. The detainees were identified as Riuraj Neog, Akash Moran, Nupur Bora, Munindra Deka, Ripson Mech, Rituparna, Munukon Hazakira, Nayanmoni Gogoi, Nabajyoti Moran and Dibya Nich.
