2174 patients were discharged today, state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated on Thursday.
The total discharged patients now stand at 49383 while the active cases have been reduced to 22240.
The minister said, "Where there is a will, there is a way! My gratitude to our medical teams for their efforts. We shall win!"
