Berserk elephants create panic

Two wild elephants strayed into a residential area at Kochua in Simaluguri in the state, creating chaos and tension among the people residing in and around the village, this morning.

Many civilians had a narrow escape from the wild elephants when they broke into their house for raiding food items.

The elephants which are said to have lost their way destroyed a parked vehicle. The damage was extensive, and the front of the vehicle crumpled under the massive weight.
