Another incident of child marriage shocks Assam. A child marriage had been performed at Suwaguri in Biswanath on Friday night.

Reportedly, a 14 year old child had been married off to a youth in the village.

Biswanath police had reached the spot after the incident.

The police had detained parents of the bride and the groom.

Those detained are Abu Salam, Nasiruddin Ali, Zarina Khatun and Firoza Khatun.
