Congress, AIUDF engage in divisive politics: JP Nadda

National president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) JP Nadda on Tuesday attended the executive meeting of the Assam arm of the party and said allegedly that Congress-AIUDF do not wish for Assam's development.

Interacting via video conferencing with the Assam BJP leaders and the newly appointed office-bearers, Nadda said, "Both Congress and AIUDF only engage in divisive communal politics".

In the meeting, Nadda lauded the efforts of Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in the development of the state and said, "Assam is undergoing significant transformation under the leadership of CM Sonowal," adding, "BJP will win the 2021 Assam Assembly Elections as well".

Meanwhile, taking to Twitter the Chief Minister said, "Attended the first meeting of the newly appointed State office bearers in Guwahati in presence of National President JP Nadda ji & State President Ranjeet Das".
