Congress is set to announce list of candidates for four constituencies, including Guwahati today. The other constituencies to be declared are Kokrajhar, Dhubri and Barpeta.

From Guwahati, Bolin Bordoloi is likely to find his name on the list.

It may be noted that there are chances of veteran leader Kirip Chaliha not making it to the list as grassroot leaders and workers do not favour his candidature. Ripun Bora and Debabrat Saikia have also opposed him to be named on the list.

Debabrat Saikia and Ripun Bora are in Delhi for the CWC meet.
