COVID-19 Assam: Cachar Posts 15 New Cases

The COVID-19 situation is turning grim in Cachar. People are fast getting infected with the deadly contagion.

On Friday, Cachar recorded 15 new positive cases.

Out of these, one is a 31-year-old journalist Biswakalyan Puryakayastha. He was suffering from fever and cough for the past three days.

5 of those cases are from BSF, Assam Rifles and Kumbhirgram Airport.

9 positive cases without having any travel history have also been detected.
