In a joint operation by Meghalaya and Basistha police against drugs, a huge amount of drugs have been seized from a rented house from Bhetapara in Beltola.

Theoperation was launched by Meghalaya and Basistha police at Hatigaon, Bhetaparaarea in the city when the police recovered the drugs being kept in a box ofinverter.

Policeseized the drugs from a rented house in Shankar Madhab Path at Bhetapara andarrested two persons.

Thearrested persons have been identified as Abhi Das of Assam and Sashikant Singhof Manipur.
