A drugs smuggler was arrested by Jalukbari Police at theLangkeswar region in Guwahati on Sunday night.

As per reports, the accused has been identified as Shankar Barman. The locals of the region noticed him since the last few days and yesterday they nabbed him in red-handed while he was selling drugs. After beaten him black and blue, they handed over the accused to Jalukbari police.

It may be stated that police recovered 10 containers of drugs along with a lot of objectionable documents from him.

It has been suspected that he has involvement with other drugs smuggling rackets and so police have started rapid interrogation to the accused of further details in this regard.
