In a sensational incident, a drunken son brutally thrashed his father to death in Gohpur under Biswanath District. The incident occurred on Saturday night. The son came home drunk and thrashed his father Ratan Dey.

According to the reports, both of them were in contention, and the son brutally thrashed the father with shoes. Ratan later succumbed to his injuries. The son has been identified as Bappi Dey.

Meanwhile, Ghahigaon Police reached the spot following the incident and the body is likely to be sent for a post-mortem. Police said the accused was being searched.
