Erosion of Brahmaputra River takes frightful turn in Gaurisagar

Brahmaputra River has taken frightful turn at the Dikhoumukh region inGaurisagar.

As per reports, Brahmaputra River has caused terror for thelocals of the region since 1990. Moreover, due to the erosion, the roadconnectivity has been destroyed between the regions of Gaurisagar and thethreat has come to the life and property of the locals. They have to break andchange the location of their own residence to a safer place.

The local people have been alleged that, they have to sufferdue to the negligence of the Water Resource Department of the State. Despiteknowing the situation, the department has not taken any initiative to protectthe locals.

Now, due to the terror of erosion of the river, the localshave to pass sleepless nights.
