A massive fire broke out at the Fancy Bazar area of Guwahati on Sunday morning. The fire broke out at a restaurant in Fancy Bazar area and within minutes the fire spread to the nearby settlements.

While the fire engulfed the restaurant, the firebrigade managed to rescue people from the spot. There have been no reports ofcausalities so far. Two fire engines are at the spot trying to put out the fire.

The locals suspected that short circuit to be thereason behind the fire.
