FSD raids Kasturi, Quick Pick

Food Security Department (FSD) conducted a sudden raid at Guwahati's two famous restaurants on Monday.

Reportedly, the raid was conducted based on complaints of customers who found hair pieces and cockroaches on food items of Kasturi Restaurant and Quick Pick, Silpukhuri.

FSD has ordered both the restaurants to remain shut for a period of seven days.

A customer had alleged that she found pieces of hair while dining at Kasturi Restaurant and another customer found a dead cockroach in their food item in Quick Pick.

It may be mentioned here that FSD had also found spoiled paneer stored in Quick Pick's refrigerator.
