Hailstorm, heavy rainfall lash Tinsukia

A severe hailstorm lashed parts of Tinsukia disrupting normal life in the district on Sunday.

Accompanied by thunder, the hailstorm began at 4-30 in the afternoon to be continued for almost half an hour.

The tea gardens in the district have been hit hard by hailstorms, directly impacting the tea industry. Hailstorms hit several parts of the state and its adjacent areas. Excited people took to social media to share pictures of roads covered with hail.
