Pratidin Bureau

Cloud burst, heavy and incessant rains have affected normalcy in Arunachal Pradesh. Simultaneously, landslide and flash floods have triggered disruption in surface communication in several parts of the state.

Reportedly, Kadeya village, in East Kameng district, has been severely affected by the flood and consequently, the village has been cut off from the rest of the state following the collapse of its lone bridge.

Houses, granaries, agriculture land, piggeries among other properties have been damaged and washed off completely.

Adding to the woes, IMD had forecast that the North Eastern states are likely to experience enhanced rainfall with isolated heavy to very heavy rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during July 9-12.
