Information on AN-32 aircraft to be rewarded with Rs.5 lakhs

The IndianAir Force (IAF) has announced a reward of Rs. 5lakh for the one who providescredible information on the missing AN-32 aircraft with 13 on board personnelin Arunachal Pradesh on June 3.

Massive searchoperation has been launched by IAF to locate the missing plane since the day itwent missing but troops have failed to locate the aircraft despite repeatedattempts.

WingCommander Ratnakar Singh, Defence PRO has confirmed that Air Marshal RD Mathur,AOC-in-charge, Eastern Air Command has announced a cash reward of Rs 5lakhs forthe person (s) or group who would provide the credible information leading tofinding of the missing AN-32 transport aircraft.

The AirChief Marshal, Mathur made the announcement for the cash reward and alsoreleased few numbers in which people can contact the air force and provide anyupdates about the missing plane. The numbers are 0378-3222164, 9436499477,9402077267 and 9402132477.

Meanwhile,the IAF has been unable to locate the aircraft since the day it went missingdespite deploying its best resources due to inclement weather.

In order tolocate the missing aircraft, various resources have been placed including ISRObut no breakthrough has been made yet.
