Kaziranga: Rescued Rhino Calf Dies

A rescued rhinoceros calf today passed away in Kaziranga.


On August 15, a female rhinoceros calf was rescued by the officials from a village in Daati Kachria area of Kaziranga. The rhino was admitted to the Panbari Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center of the National Park.

According to the medical professionals and doctors of the rescue and rehabilitation centre, the rhino calf was in a critical condition since the time of its rescue.
