Kidnapped Dinanath Upadhyay in Myanmar | Protest at Jagun demanding his release

ULFA (I) had released a video showing that Dinanath Upadhyay also known as Gopal, an employee of Phaneng tea garden who had been kidnapped on June 08, is kept in a secret hideout in Myanmar.

In the video Gopal is seen saying that the militant outfit had kidnapped him pertaining to him keeping a secret eye on NSCN and ULFA on orders of MLA Bhaskar Sarma and Radha Chetia.

After the release of the video, protest had been held at Jagun demanding the release of Gopal.

The protest was held outside the residence of Radha Chetia, who is the owner of the Phaneng tea garden in which Gopal had been working in.

Along with Gopal's family members, people of 3 no. Udaypur village came out with placards for the protest.
