Majuli: Neematighat-Bound Ferry Stranded Midstream

A Neematighat-bound ferry from Kamalabari in Majuli got stranded in the middle of River Brahmaputra. The ferry named 'Bhairabi' which is the oldest ferry was carrying passengers when it stranded amidst the Brahmaputra.

The passengers created panic among themselves as the ferry has been stranded for four hours.

The passengers alleged that the ferry also doesn't have enough fuel for which it has been stuck in the middle of the River.

The ferry was carrying around 70 passengers along with vehicles.
