Pratidin Bureau

The family of an 8-year-old schoolboy who died in Marwari Hospital in the city on Saturday has raised complaints alleging medical negligence.

The incident was followed by protests by the family and a heated argument with the hospital administration on Saturday night.

Later, Bharalumukh Police reached the spot and managed to handle the situation.

The boy had been admitted in the hospital on Thursday and the family claimed that he was recovering on Sunday morning but died subsequently.

However, the hospital administration claimed that the boy remained critical when he was taking treatment in the hospital.
