Former AssamCM Prafulla Mahanta during a press meet said he will support former Congress CMTarun Gogoi if he switches from nationalism to regionalism on Thursday.

Mahanta saidregionalism is still at a latent state but for the development of a stateregionalism is a must. It needs to grow and now is the right time.

Inconnection to the Baghjan fire, Mahanta said according to the districtadministration, 16 families have been affected.
