Police detains three in movie-like kidnap case

In amovie-styled kidnapping case, Basistha Police has detained a Rajasthan's coaltrader for concocting his own kidnapping.

The coal trader named Jai Kisan Mahato, who hails from Bikaner in Rajasthan, after an alcohol party called up his family in Rajasthan from his own mobile phone, posing as an ULFA who had kidnapped him and demanded a ransom of Rupees Fifty lakh.

However,the police who had had sleepless night due to the alleged kidnapping, found himfrom his house in Games Village. Along with Mahato two others also have beendetained by the police.

Now, thequestion here that why he concocted his kidnapping story and demanded a ransomfrom his family is yet to be addressed. The police has filed a suo motocomplaint for misleading the police and wasting their time.

Theother two who have been detained are Haryana's Rohit Singhal and Biswajeet Deka.
