Protest in Chandrapur against Police

Sensation prevailed in Chandrapur's West Mayang region, where locals protested against the Officer In-charge of Pragjyotish police station on Saturday.

The locals allege that police have been protecting the accused instead of punishing them. They added the police had beaten the protestors where lots of them were injured.

Moreover, they added that the OC had threatened them by abusing and triggering gun to them without any reason. Reportedly, paramilitary forces had been deployed and the top police officials also reached the scene to control the situation.
