Pratidin Bureau

In the wake of long weekend and with Christmas falling on Tuesday, the Bogibeel Bridge was witnessing a huge rush.
Not only Tuesday, visitors from across the state have started to witness the longest rail-road bridge on Wednesday morning.

On the first day itself, with the weather being fine and favourable and everything being conducive and peaceful, the visitors have been showing great enthusiasm in travelling to the area.

The bridge has been monitoring by police to ensure law and order.

Although, the Railways and ASTC have started the new trains and buses respectively, but tourists are preferring private vehicles.

Commuters had to face a harrowing time on Tuesday night due to the Bogibeel inauguration ceremony at Kareng Sapori. A massive traffic jam was witnessed on the highway. Vehicles were lined up on both sides of the highway.
