The membersof the management committee of Ugratara Temple in the city have informed thatboth the deities will be installed in the temple with religious ceremony.

The managementcommittee further stated that the Ugratara Mahotsav, which was scheduled toobserve with the arrival of the new deity, has been postponed to a furtherdate.

"We were supposed to organise the Ugratara Mahotsav to install the new deity, but with the blessings of Ma, the police have recovered the old deity and we have to postpone the date of installation," said Kalisah Sharma, one of the members of the Ugratara Temple management committee.

The old deity will undergo repair process, as some minimal damage of the deity is being noticed, informed Sharma. As per information, the century-old Ugratara deity will be installed in the same old place; and decision over the installation of the new deity is yet to be announced.
