Pro-Talk ULFA leader Lashes out on Shiladitya

On Wednesday, Pro-talk leader-cum- Ex-commander of the United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) Mrinal Hazarika lashes out on the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2016.

The leader has threatened that "If Parliament passes this bill, we will have no choice but derail the peace process. We cannot go against the people of Assam for whom we have fought for years".

Threatening the Bengali organizations and BJP MLA Shiladitya Deb, Hazarika said, "I want to warn MLA Shiladitya Deb and the Bengali organizations, who have been working against the interest of Assamese community despite living in Assam should refrain from doing so in the future. If they don't, we have to create an environment like 1983′ if situation compels us."

He clearly said that the bill would reduce the indigenous people in Assam to a minority.

If parliament passes this Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, then government will be accountable for any untoward incident.- Hazarika reiterated.
