Zubeen turns a year older

Assam's heartthrob Zubeen Garg turned a year older today (November 18). Zubeen celebrated the special day with his coworkers and had a gala time with them.

Garg entered into the professional music when his debutalbum Anamika was released in 1992. He later released albums including Maya,Asha and Pakhi. In the late 90's Zubeen moved to Mumbai to work in theBollywood music industry where he recorded few Hindi albums and films likeChandni Raat, Yuhi Kabhi, Fiza and Kaante.

He got the biggest break in Bollywood in the film 'Gangster'.The song 'Ya Ali' of the movie was one of the most popular hits of 2006. Thesong brought him the best playback singer Global Indian Film Awards (GIFA) in2006.

Zubeen Garg is an Indian playback singer, music director, playback singer, composer, songwriter, music producer, film director, film producer, actor, and philanthropist. His contributions are mostly attributed in Assamese, Bengali and Bollywood films and music.

Garg has sung many songs in other languages and dialects,including Bishnupriya Manipuri, Bodo, English, Goalparia, Kannada, Karbi,Khasi, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Odia, Tamil, Telugu and Tiwa. He is also aninstrumentalist and plays dhol, guitar, mandolin, keyboard and variouspercussion instruments.
