India will remain grateful to Bose: Modi

PrimeMinister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that India will always remain gratefulto Subhas Chandra Bose for his bravery and indelible contribution to resistingcolonialism.

PMModi, while paying tributes to Bose on his 123rd birth anniversary, took toTwitter and shared a video. He also wrote, "He [Bose] stood up for the progressand well-being of his fellow Indians."

"On23rd January 1897, Janakinath Bose wrote in his diary, 'A son was born atmidday.' This son became a valorous freedom fighter and thinker who devoted hislife towards one great cause- India's freedom," Modi said referring to Netaji.
