Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday took a jibe at Prime Minister Modi and other BJP leaders for adding the word "chowkidar" on their Twitter handles.

Mocking the 'Main Bhi Chowkidar' campaign, Congress chief Rahul Gandhi said Narendra Modi has turned the whole country into 'chowkidars' after getting caught.

"Whose chowkidari has he done?" the Congress president asked, alleging Modi had only helped Anil Ambani, Mehul Choksi and Nirav Modi.

While addressing a rally in Karnataka, Gandhi said that if everybody was a 'chowkidar', why did PM Modi go alone to France to finalise the Rafale deal.
