Andheri area Mumbai is one of the worst affected due to heavy rainfall on Wednesday morning where around 8 people were injured as three cars collided with each other in Andheri flyover due to low visibility.

Mumbai which witnessed spells of overnight rain, Mumbaikars have woken up to complaints of waterlogging and slow-moving traffic on Wednesday.

On Tuesday the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted by twitting that a heavy rainfall warning for the next two days stating that a cyclonic circulation would bring more showers to the city.

The incessant rain caused water-logging in Sion region while railway tracks at Sion station have completely submerged and affecting the train movement.

Previously the monsoon record of this month, the rain brought large parts of Maharashtra and Mumbai to a standstill. On July 2, more than 20 people were killed after the rains led to the collapse of a wall in Mumbai's Malad East and three others were killed due to a wall crashed at Kalyan in Thane district.

Schools, colleges and offices have not been shut as there is no announcement by the government.

Meanwhile, the weather department has also predictedheavy spells of rain in Maharashtra's Raigad and Ratnagiri districts.
