Python rescued from Taj Mahal

Causing panic among the tourists, a massive IndianRock Python was spotted in the Taj Mahal parking lot on Saturday. It was first noticedby some labourers who narrowly missed stepping on it.

Immediately a curious crowd formed around the snakeand police officials contacted the Wildlife authorities, who rescued the9-foot-long reptile. The python was released into a suitable habitat after athorough examination, said Wildlife authorities.

"We believe that the python had wandered out of theTaj Nature Walk green belt, which is home to a variety of wildlife species,"said a wildlife expert.
