SSC paper leak | CBI registers FIR against 17

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered an FIR against 17 persons, including 10 employees of Sify Technologies Private Limited, in connection to the SSC (CGL) examination paper leak.

CBI on Wednesday carried out searche operations at various premises including four offices of the Sify in Chennai, Noida, Mumbai and New Delhi besides the residence of one of its employees in Delhi.

It may be mentioned here that the paper of the second tier of the SSC Combined Graduate Level exam and its answer key were allegedly leaked, which became viral on social media before the start of the examination.

CBI has also named seven students in the FIR who had appeared in the examination on the basis of the screenshot of the question paper.
