UPSC allows candidates to change prelims exam centre

The Union Public Service Commission in response to the whopping number of requests for a change in the exam centres, in a major decision on Wednesday, has now permitted applicants to revise their chosen exam centre.

In an official notice issued at the UPSC website, the Commission has specified requests for change in exam centre for the combined Prelims of IAS and IFS 2020 as well as the Main exams can be placed at the Commission's website between July 07 to 13, 2020 and July 20 to 24, 2020 till 6.00 PM.

In addition to the centre revision and reselection process, the UPSC has allowed candidates to withdraw their applications from August 1 to 08 2020. Applications can be withdrawn by visiting the official website only.

The official notifications for IAS and IFS 2020 recruitment were published by the UPSC in February 2020 and the Combined Prelims of IAS and IFS are scheduled to be conducted on October 04, 2020
