India will not play day-night test in Australia: BCCI

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially informed its Australian counterpart, Cricket Australia (CA) that India will not play any day-night Test match on their tour Down Under.

The tour is scheduled at the end of this year.

It may be mentioned here that Cricket Australia was also insistent on having a pink ball Test, the Indian board has made it clear that they will not deviate from the traditional red-ball matches.

Cricket Australia wanted the opening Test at Adelaide to be a pink ball Test match.
