15 dead, 12 injured in Pakistan plane crash

A small plane crashed into a residential area killing 15 people and injuring 12 others near pakistan's Rawalpindi in the wee hours today.

As per a rescue official, 15 bodies, which includes 10 civilians and 5 crew members, have been retrieved so far, while 12 people have been injured in the crash.

However, details of the cause of the crash have not been let out by the Military, but said that an army aviation aircraft was on a routine training flight before it went down in the village of Mora Kalu on the outskirts of Rawalpindi.

The plane suddenly lost contact with the tower and that the reason for the incident was not known, said rescue officials.
