Jailed Reuters journalists win Pulitzer Prize

Two jailed journalists of Reuters have won the prestigious Pulitzer Prize on Monday. The journalists- Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo won a Pulitzer Prize for international reporting for uncovering the massacre of 10 Muslim Rohingya men by Buddhist villagers and Myanmar security forces Myanmar's Rakhine State.

According to Reuters, both the journalists were moved into action after they discovered a mass grave. After investigations, they gathered three pictures from villagers, two of which showed the Rohingya men kneeling and the third picture showed the bodies of the very same 10 men in the same grave.

The journalists have already spent 490 days in jail. Meanwhile, Reuters and press freedom organizations have been continuously pushing for their release.
