A Footage, captured on Monday night, purportedly showing anintoxicated admissions clerk attempting to serve patients seeking medicaltreatment at Agile Hospitals Private Limited inGuwahati.
As per reports, Dipanjal Baruah – a resident of BiswanathChariali came to the hospital for a CT scan of his father namely ChiteswarBaruah.
"My father was brought to the CT scan room in the hospital. But, an admissions clerk working in the hospital interrupted the scan process while my father was on the machine. He took about 1 hour for the scan. He appears to have difficulty communicating and is unsteady on his feet. His conduct on duty is unacceptable and is condemned," Dipanjal Baruah said.
Hospital authority said the incident is under investigation,with statements being taken from witnesses and additional facts being gathered.
"Internalprocess will now unfold to deal with the conduct of the employee whilst on duty… The matter has been referred to hospital management to attend to it," asper sources.
