Hindi cinema actor Anupam Kher informed on Sunday that some of his family members have tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) while he has tested negative.
Kher stated his mother Dulari has been admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben hospital and revealed his brother Raju Kher, his sister-in-law and his niece have also been detected with the infection with mild symptoms. However, they are self-quarantined themselves.
The actor thanked the authorities at Kokilaben hospital for admitting his mother and requested his followers to get elderly people in the family tested if they make a complaint of ill-health and aren't hungry.
