The Assam Satra Mahasabha (ASM) has expressed anger over Prasanta Payeng who has registered a case against the Satradhikar of Majuli Dakhinpat Satra Janardan Goswami who has raised voice against the aggression of Christian into Majuli.
Prasanta Payeng has registered a case against Satradhikar Goswami which has reached the court of judicial magistrate. The Assam Satra Mahasabha is now concerned about the Christian aggression to Majuli, and therefore, they have conducted a meeting where they have decided that it is time that the Satradhikars should take steps against the aggression of Christian.
Meanwhile, inthe meeting called by Hindu Suraksha Samiti, a resolution has been taken thatin order to keep the features of Satriya culture intact, the people of Majulishould unite and should take steps against the aggression of Christian people.
Moreover, JanardanGoswami said that if necessary he will sacrifice his life if necessary toprotect the Krishna culture in Majuli. He also said that to protect the cultureof Majuli he will serve even life term imprisonment or will accept deathsentence but will keep fighting to keep the features intact.
