A total of 13 doctors in Assam have tested COVID-19 positive till date. Two doctors from Guwahati have been detected with COVID-19 positive on Saturday taking the state's positive number of doctors to 13.
Dr.Dhrubajyoti Dutta and his wife Dr. Smriti Pathak Dutta have been testedpositive and admitted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
Dr.Dhrubajyoti Dutta is a doctor of Apollo Hospital, Guwahati while his wife is adoctor of GMCH.
A total of 7 doctors from GMCH have been detected with COVID-19 while 1 doctor each from Barpeta Medical College and Hospital, Hayat Hospital in Guwahati, Lakhimpur, Singimari, Regional Dental College and Apollo Hospital, Guwahati reported having detected with the virus.
