Members of Congress, spearheaded by Leader of Opposition in the Assam Legislative Assembly Debabrata Saikia will stage a protest on July 20 within the premises of Dispur Ganesh Mandir from 10 am to 1 pm.
The agitation will focus on demanding unconditional release of peasant leader Akhil Gogoi and demanding central assistance in Assam's fight against floods.
They will also protest against the steep price rise of essential items in the state, will also demand that politics in the name of COVID-19 be stopped.
